As we enter the darkest time of the year, remember how much we all have to celebrate & be thankful for. Just two more weeks, & the days start getting longer again!
Every Saturday throughout the year, Fredonia Farmers’ Market has local beef, chicken, pork, & goat meat, all humanely raised on our family farms. Eggs, maple products & raw local honey, seasonal veggies & microgreens, mushrooms, & potatoes are available, as well as a wide variety of baked goods (traditional, whole-grain, gluten-free, & keto). Several vendors have delicious ready-to-eat dishes from around the world, including soups, salads, beautiful veg spring rolls & sushi, steamed dumplings (pork or veg), exquisite Pakistani comfort foods, & gluten-free quiches.
Whether you are planning your holiday meals or looking for easy, healthy family suppers for these busy days, we’ve got you covered.
If you are looking for thoughtful gifts for your loved ones, Fredonia Farmers’ Market can help. Our artisan crafters have herbal body products & remedies to soothe dry skin & stuffy heads. (Beautiful handmade soaps make lovely gifts!)
Ceres Farm has pure beeswax candles to give your dinner table & dark evenings warm light, & they make great presents as well. Aeress Designs crafts nature-inspired jewelry, & the Fredonia Presbyterian Church has incredible fair-trade chocolate & coffees.
Fredonia Farmers’ Winter Market happens every Saturday at the Fredonia Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main Street, from 10am-1pm. Our vendors gladly accept cash, checks, credit cards, SNAP benefits, & we are handicapped accessible. Gift certificates & sturdy FFM shopping bags are always for sale at the Market Manager’s Table.
FYI: You can purchase FFM gift certificates & donate them to the Presbyterian Food Pantry. This allows pantry participants to access fresh food from local sources simply. A win-win for families & farmers!
