We hope that everyone is staying warm these days! It’s almost the end of January, & even though starting seedlings is a little way off, lambs & goat kids are getting ready to be born, & preparing for maple syrup time is surely in Tom DeGolier’s mind.
Despite the cold, Gong Garden’s greenhouse is growing leeks, kale, & other fresh greens. Maggitti Farms has all kinds of veggies getting ready under their hoop rows. Our farmers are always finding new ways to provide fresh local produce for your table.
This is hot soup season, & we have plenty of meats & soup bones, as well as lovely breads & rolls to add to your meals.
If you’re not feeling the cooking vibe, Om Nohm, Gong Garden, & Pots-n-Curries have delicious ready-to-eat foods from around the world. Our market is so lucky to have such a variety of choices: ethnic foods, vegetarian & vegan, traditional baked goods & gluten-free.
