This time of year is always bittersweet. Our summers here are brief and intense: we try to pack as many events and activities into a few warm months. This year, of course, was very different! Most festivals, outdoor concerts, big family reunions, and gatherings had to be cancelled due to COVID.
We were very fortunate to be able to continue the Fredonia Farmer’s Market, both winter market indoors at the Masonic Lodge, and summer market on Church St. Vendors carefully adhered to State guidelines for safety, and patrons were very cooperative.
As we move towards moving inside on November 7, we are trying to plan for a safe market, without losing our friendly, sociable atmosphere. While we aren’t able to share Tom’s incredible free pancakes, or samples and food demos, we will strive to serve our patrons as we always have, with a commitment to great local food and community spirit.
